Episode 0 - Picking up the Pencil

Your Preview Awaits

I’m still putting together the trailer for Walking with Writers, which I hope to get out to the general public this week, but I’m hitting you, my lovely Substack folks, with our setup episode TWO WEEKS ahead of general release. There’s not much here about actual writing, but it explains the concept of the show and what Mike and I are hoping to get out of it (from the first season at least).

Welcome to Walking with Writers. Producer Mike DeAngelo joins host Kevin Gallagher as they discuss their goals with the show and introduce it to the audience.

I can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to get you Walking with Writers episodes to you this early all the time, but we’ll do our best to get them to you as soon as we can. For 2022, we won’t be putting them behind a paywall and will revisit the idea in 2023. In the meantime, keep an eye out for when you can subscribe to the podcast, and let us know in the comments of any writers you’d like me to interview! Self-promos are absolutely encouraged.
